On Saturday, at UFC 211, UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will defend her title against Jessica Andrade in the co-main event.
Before defending her title, Jedrzejczyk took the time to speak to the media after her public workout on Thursday.
During her media scrum, Jedrzejczyk discussed her upcoming fight and talked about her future.
Jedrzejczyk says she excited about the UFC adopting a women’s flyweight division. She also said she wants to be the champion in both weight classes and wants to move back-and-forth between 115 and 125 pounds to be a two-division champion.
“If I become champion at 125 (pounds), I will jump between 115 and 125. I want to be the real champion of two different divisions,” Jedrzejczyk said.
Jedrzejczyk is undefeated in her MMA career with 13 wins. Her last four fights have been successful title defenses. She has title wins over Carla Esparza, Jessica Penne, Valerie Letourneau, Claudia Gadelha, and Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
UFC 211 will take place May 13 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
