The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held the UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference last week. The event held many of the promotion’s featured competitors for the summer. The fighters answered questions and appeared for a quick staredown with their opponents.
The press conference did not go without its drama. UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon “Bones” Jones were in attendance, as the two are set to face off at UFC 214.
As the event went on, the bad blood between the two mixed martial artists began to boil. The two fighters exchanged heated words throughout the event. But, the real tension seems to have taken place back stage.
In the recently released video below, the two fighters can be seen having an altercation behind the scenes. As Daniel Cormier had alluded to earlier, the champion can be seen throwing a bottle at the face of Jon Jones.
