Kevin Lee: ‘F*ck Conor McGregor … He’s Trying To Take From Hood Hip Hop Culture’

UFC lightweight prospect Kevin Lee is not a fan of UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

Lee talked about McGregor during Friday’s UFC Summer Kickoff Press Conference.

“(Expletive) Conor. I’m not trying to be none of that,” Lee said when talking about people saying he’s trying to be like McGregor. “If anything he’s trying to be like me. He’s trying to take from our culture, from hood culture, from hip-hop culture. If anything, there is nothing better than being young, black, and rich. So I’m going to keep it going.”

Lee attended the press conference to promote his upcoming main event fight against Michael Chiesa at a UFC Fight Night event on June 25 in Oklahoma City.

Shortly after he made his comments about McGregor, Lee ended up in a brawl with Chiesa after making comments about Chiesa’s mother. Both lightweight fighters were separated and escorted from the press conference.
