UFC 209 had set in place an exciting and highly anticipated co-main event between top lightweight contenders Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. The two were set to face off for the UFC lightweight interim title. However, things did not go as planned.
Nurmagomedov was dropped from the event after suffering weight management issues. The fighter was rushed to the hospital and the night’s co-main event was scrapped.
Now, Khabib Nurmagomedov can be seen in the video below. Posted to Instagram, “The Eagle” can be seen being flocked to and praised by fans.
Most recently, “The Eagle” earned a submission victory over Michael Johnson at UFC 205. The contender is currently undefeated in his fighting career.
