The 2017 UFC fighter summit did not go without its controversy. Former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristriane “Cyborg” Justino had a confrontation with UFC strawweight Angela Magana on the final night of the athlete retreat.
Justino struck Magana, prompting the UFC to call police. Following the event, Magana has decided to press charges and file a lawsuit against Justino. Now, it would appear that Angela Magana has been dropped from her fight camp.
Alliance MMA founder and mixed martial arts legend Brandon “The Truth” Vera recently made a public statement concerning the UFC strawweight. In the statement, Vera explained that Angela Magana is no longer welcome at Alliance MMA.
