Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor “Notorious” McGregor is looking to put together the payday of his career. The UFC lightweight champion wishes to face boxing phenom Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. has been confident in his son’s abilities concerning the possible matchup. However, in an interview back in 2016, the former boxer seemed potentially shaken up.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. was interviewed by Fight Hub TV.  During the interview, Mayweather Sr. was shown a clip of Conor McGregor’s devastating knockout over former champion Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.

After watching the clip, Mayweather Sr. goes silent. After a moment of silence, the former boxer asked what weight Conor McGregor was competing in.
