The betting odds for a boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor are beginning to change.
This week, McGregor confirmed he had signed an agreement to fight Mayweather in his boxing debut. However, Mayweather has yet to agree to a deal so the fight in not yet official.
However, just McGregor agreeing to the deal have changed the betting odds for this dream boxing match.
Over a year ago, when the fight was first being talked about, Mayweather was a -2000 favorite against the UFC star. Today, Mayweather is just a -700 favorite, which in the world of betting is still a huge favorite.
McGregor is currently a +450 underdog. As time goes on, more and more people are beginning to place money on McGregor pulling off one of the biggest upsets in combat sports history.
