UFC star Nate Diaz has responded to top contender Tony Ferguson’s numerous callouts.
After not being able to receive fights against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor or top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov, Ferguson has begun to call out Diaz.
In an interview with Ariel Helwani on Wednesday, Diaz revealed that he has accepted a fight with Ferguson.
“I have already, and in this game… It’s all about the money motherfucker. It is all about the money. Or what are you doing it for?
“If you want to fight, we can fight right now in my front yard. But if you want to fight me in the cage, that’s making millions and millions of dollars, I want my piece. Because they’re tuning in to watch me not you. And, that’s your fault.”
Despite accepting a fight with Ferguson, the UFC would not accept Diaz’s terms. Since his two fights with McGregor were two of the largest UFC pay-per-view events of all time, Diaz believes he deserves to be offered more money to fight.
