Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight contender Nate Diaz recently explained that he is considering taking 2017 off from the UFC. The fighter initially agreed to face Tony Ferguson. However, the fighter’s requirements were not met by the UFC.
Now, it would appear that the mixed martial arts phenom has randomly bumped into a comedy legend. Nate Diaz can be seen side by side with acclaimed comedian Dave Chappelle in the photo below.
Nate Diaz took to Twitter to say “Ran into @davechapelle and his friend @ashley_barnhill at Whole Foods juice bar taking wellness shots wit dem we healthy now hahaha was nice to meet them ??.” The fighter also released an image of himself alongside the famous comedian.
Nate Diaz is currently coming off of a loss at UFC 202. After defeating Conor “Notorious” McGregor by submission at UFC 196, the mixed martial artist lost by way of majority decision at UFC 202. The lightweight champion and Nate Diaz are currently 1-1 in their fights together.
