UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic and former champion Junior dos Santos both have a reputation for being extremely friendly.
That was no longer the case during Friday’s weigh-ins for UFC 211.
Miocic will defend his title against Dos Santos in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 211.
Dos Santos had a huge smile on his face when he made his way out for the ceremonial weigh-ins. However, his smile disappeared when Miocic made his way to the stage.
Both fighters showed respect towards one another, but it is clear both fighters are taking this fight seriously.
Even though Miocic is the champion, Dos Santos managed to pick up a decision win against him back in Dec. 2014.
Miocic has not lost since that fight and has managed to win and defend the heavyweight title.
Dos Santos has not fought since April 2016. He is coming off a decision win over Ben Rothwell.
