Paul Daley, MVP Brawl After Bellator 179 Main Event

Tonight held an exciting matchup for one of the world’s top mixed martial arts promotions. Bellator MMA hosted Bellator 179 on May 19 inside the Wembley Arena in London, England. In the main event, Rory MacDonald was set to face Paul Daley.

The two welterweight competitors went at it in an intense performance. However, the fight was ultimately cut short in the second round. Rory “Red King” MacDonald earned a submission victory over his opponent in the second round.

Winning by rear-naked choke, Rory “Red King” MacDonald has pulled himself out of a two fight losing streak and claimed a victory in his Bellator debut. Most recently, the fighter faced a unanimous decision loss to Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.

Now, it would appear that Paul Daley was not finished fighting after the second round. Following the conclusion of the main event, Paul Daley can be seen having a confrontation with Michael Page. The full scuffle can be seen in the video below.
