UFC 214 is turning out to be one of the most stacked UFC events of the year.
Two ranked UFC featherweight are now set to compete on the card as Brian Ortega fights Renato Moicano.
The Los Angeles Daily News was the first to announce the fight between the two undefeated prospects.
Ortega is ranked No. 9 in the official UFC featherweight rankings. He is undefeated with 11 wins. Ortega is coming off a knockout win, last June, against Clay Guida. His UFC record also includes a TKO win over Thiago Tavares and a submission win over Diego Brandao.
Moicano is ranked No. 11 in the UFC welterweight rankings and is also undefeated with 11 wins. He is coming off the biggest win of his career. In April, Moicano won a split decision against Jeremy Stephens.
UFC 214 features a plethora of pivotal fights in the featherweight division. Also on the card, “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung will fight Ricardo Lamas and “The Korean Superboy” Doo Ho Choi will fight Andre Fili.
UFC 214 will take place July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier will defend his title against Jon Jones in the main event.
