On Saturday, at UFC 211, former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar fought prospect Yair Rodriguez.
Edgar went on to dominate Rodriguez for their entire fight. The former champion took the prospect down and pummeled him for the first two rounds of the fight. Rodriguez’s eye was swollen so
Rodriguez’s eye was swollen so badly from the beating that both the referee and doctor agreed to stop the fight in between the second and third rounds.
Edgar once again proved his prominence in the UFC featherweight division with his statement against Rodriguez.
