On Tuesday, former UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald and Paul Daley went face-to-face leading up to their fight on Friday.
At Bellator 179, MacDonald will make his debut in the promotion when he fights Daley.
MacDonald has not fought in almost a year. He is coming off a decision loss to Stephen Thompson in June.
Even though he is coming off a loss, MacDonald is still one of the top welterweight fighters in the world. He has victories in the UFC against current UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley and top contender Demian Maia.
Daley is currently coming off a brutal knockout win over Brenan Ward in January. Daley knocked Ward out with a flying knee.
Bellator 179 will also feature a pivotal light heavyweight fight between former Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Liam McGeary and Linton Vassell.
