UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson appears to be in great shape despite not having a fight booked.
On Tuesday, Johnson posted a photo of himself shirtless on his Instagram page. In the photo, the champion is ripped and looks to be more chiseled than he ever has before.
In his caption, the champion wrote, “Proof that I’m not having a bow wow moment,” poking fun at rapper Lil Bow Wow, who has recently become a meme due to him lying about his success.
Johnson has recently been rumored to potentially fight former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw.
Dillashaw is currently scheduled to fight UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt for his title at UFC 213 on July 8. However, that fight is in jeopardy due to Garbrandt suffering an injury. If Garbrandt cannot compete at UFC 213, Dillashaw would like to challenge Johnson for his flyweight championship.
Johnson is currently coming off of his 10th consecutive title defense. In April, he successfully defended his title against Wilson Reis. With that win, Johnson tied the UFC record for most consecutive title defenses. He shares the record with former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
