Martial artist and acting star Steven Seagal is a known friend to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The actor received citizenship into the country just last year. Now, it would appear that his relations to the country has lost his connection to another.
As reported by News Sky, the martial artist and actor has been barred from the country of Ukraine for five years now. Security service to the country has claimed the actor has “committed socially dangerous actions…that contradict the interests of maintaining Ukraine’s security”.
In 2014, Russia annexed Crimea from the Ukraine. The act has cultivated severe tension between the countries.
Steven Seagal speaks quite highly of the Russian president. Vladimir Putin has been called, “one of the great living world leaders,” by Steven Seagal.
