Former Strikeforce and Bellator fighter Brett Rogers has accepted a plea deal in his sexual misconduct case.
Rogers was facing charges for three different sexual harassment incidents.
Rogers first incident took place in an elevator in a public library. The former MMA fighter had groped the man standing next to him while the two were alone riding the elevator.
The second incident took place when Rogers asked a man standing next to him in a public bathroom if he wanted to have sex with him in one of the stalls.
The third incident took place while Rogers was in jail. Rogers had grouped his cell mate numerous times while the two were alone together.
Roger’s did not admit to having committed any of these crimes, but he still accepted the plea deal.
“The plea was an Alford plea so he didn’t enter an admission of guilt, but he (decided) to plead in order to take advantage of the offer from the state,” said Terrance Lyndon Hendricks, Rogers’ defense attorney to a local newspaper in Minnesota.
