The UFC is considering making fights watchable via virtual reality.
On Monday, the UFC sent out surveys to fans asking them how the felt about potentially watching fights through virtual reality.
The survey included questions asking its fan whether or not they own a virtual reality headset and what their experience is with the device. The survey also asks fans if they want to watch UFC in virtual reality and asks how much they would be willing to pay to watch a fight in virtual reality.
After taking the survey, the UFC asks if fans would be willing to receive a phone call from a UFC representative in order to share their thoughts on virtual reality.
So it is apparent the UFC is highly considering the possibility of making fights available through virtual reality. There is no word on how close to the action fans will be, but there is no doubt this could lead to a fan experience, unlike anything we’ve seen before.
