Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Demian Maia is riding an impressive victory over talented striker Jorge Masvidal. The two clashed inside the octagon at UFC 211 on May 13. Maia showed off his grappling skills once again.
The fight ultimately went the distance, with Demian Maia earning a split decision over his opponent. Maia presented his ground control and grappling skills throughout the match. However, the fighter received a taste of his own medicine at the recent fighter summit.
Many of the UFC’s top fighters flocked together for this year’s fighter summit, in which fighter’s were rewarded with a little retreat. During the summit, former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans decided to mess around with the grappling phenom.
