UFC 212 goes down this weekend with an exciting set of main and co-main events. The fight night commences on June 3 inside the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the main event, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will be facing off against interim champion Max Holloway.
For the night’s co-main event, UFC strawweight top contenders Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Claudia Gadelha will be battling it out for dominance in their division.
In a recent interview with Champions.co, Karolina Kowalkiewicz made a little wager for her incipient fight night.
“She can say what she wants—it’s MMA, of course, anything can happen,” Kowalkiewicz said. “I don’t like to speculate how my fights are going to end or how long they are going to last, but one thing I can promise is that it will be a great fight. I’m not going to predict how it will end, myself, but let me tell you this—if she can knock me out, I will buy her a beer after the fight—I hope she will do the same.”
