UFC Heavyweight Travis Browne is set to return to the UFC.
On July 8, Browne will fight Aleksei Oliynyk at UFC 213 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Browne has hit a rough patch in his UFC career. He is currently on a three-fight losing streak.
In his last fight, in February, Browne was knocked out by Derrick Lewis. Last September, Browne lost a decision to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum. Back in July, Browne lost to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez by TKO.
Oliynyk is coming off a submission win over Viktor Pesta back in January. He has won 12 of his last 13 fights. Oliynyk has UFC wins over Anthony Hamilton and Jared Rosholt. Before joining the UFC, Oliynyk picked up a victory over Mirko Cro Cop.
This will be Browne’s first fight since being engaged to former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey. It will be interesting to see if the engagement can reignite Browne’s UFC career.
