The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is currently gearing up for its round of summer events. Among them, UFC 213 goes down July 8 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In anticipation for the event, the UFC has released the official poster for the main event fight.
In the night’s main event, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes will be looking to defend her belt from Valentina Shevchenko. The two mixed martial artists initially met inside the octagon at UFC 196 last year.
Amanda Nunes earned a unanimous decision victory over her opponent. Now, the champion is riding a five fight winning streak with the mixed martial arts promotion.
Valentina Shevchenko is currently riding a two fight win streak. The fighter recently earned a submission victory over Julianna Pena at UFC on FOX 23. Before that, the mixed martial artist earned a victory over former champion Holly Holm.
