Apparently UFC welterweight “Platinum” Mike Perry has a stronger punch than former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez and boxing legend Evander Holyfield.
In the video below, Perry tests his striking power on a punching machine. After landing a strong right hand, Perry earned a score of 874.
Last year, both Velasquez and Holyfield played the exact same punching game. Holyfield managed to receive a score of 600, while Velasquez scored 823 on the punching bag.
While this may only be a game, it is a testament to Perry incredible punching power. All of Perry’s 10 victories in MMA have come by knockout. He is currently coming off a knockout win over longtime welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger. Perry also has UFC wins over Hyun Gyu Lim and Danny Roberts.
