In 2006, Aoki battled against Ali Abdelaziz, the manager of former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar, in a grappling match.
Aoki took only 15 seconds to defeat Abdelaziz by submission. Aoki used a stunning flying armbar to submit the now MMA manager.
