UFC President Dana White was a man of his word back in 2010 when he bet rapper Snoop Dogg $20,000 on the results of an NBA game.

White bet that his native Boston Celtics would defeat the Los Angeles Lakers. When the Lakers were victorious, White paid Snoop Dogg $20,000 and offered him tickets to an upcoming UFC event.

Snoop Dogg was appreciative of White honoring his bet and said he would attend the UFC show in Las Vegas.

The UFC event White invited Snoop Dogg to was UFC 125 on Jan. 1, 2011. The event featured the legendary lightweight title fight between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. The fight ended in a draw after Edgar survived nearly getting knocked out in beginning of the fight and came back to win the final rounds.
