Long-time UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently received his Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
The comedian and jiu-jitsu practitioner got emotional after receiving his black belt from well-renowned jiu-jitsu expert Eddie Bravo.
Rogan’s black belt ceremony was recorded at 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, where Rogan trains. While being congratulated by teammates and speaking about his accomplishment Rogan can be seen wiping his eyes trying to hide his emotions after earning this huge accolade.
Before Rogan spoke in front of his teammates, Bravo shared some words on why Rogan deserves his black belt and also talked about Rogan being a good friend.
“Becoming really good at jiu-jitsu is probably one of the most difficult things a person can do, and it helps me with everything I do,” Rogan said.
“Martial arts are a vehicle for developing your human potential, and nothing in my life has put me in face with reality better than jiu-jitsu.”
