Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey may be making a return to the WWE.
Rousey recently began following a plethora of women wrestlers in the WWE on Twitter. This could be a sign that she plans to compete in the world’s premiere professional wrestling organization.
Rousey’s close friend, and training parter, Shayna Baszler also has close ties to the WWE. Since leaving the UFC, Baszler has been focusing on her career as a professional wrestler. She recently had a tryout with the WWE and has appeared on WWE programming. Baszler appeared on the E! television reality series Total Divas. On the show, she helped train WWE star Nikki Bella.
Rousey has made appearances in the WWE before. In 2015, at WrestleMania 31, Rousey accompanied Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to the ring. She also attacked WWE stars Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.
Rousey has not fought in the UFC since losing to Amanda Nunes back in December. As of now, it appears Rousey’s fighting career may be done. With her love of professional wrestling, it seems likely the former UFC champion may officially join the WWE.
