Derek Brunson has confirmed that top middleweight contender Yoel Romero crapped on himself while the two fought.
In Jan. 2014, Romero defeated Brunson by TKO at a UFC Fight Night event. However, before the fight was over Romero appeared to have made a mess on himself.
“I think he had a brown substance on his leg and on his pants right after the fight,” Brunson said in an interview. “He was really squeezing really hard to stop one of my takedowns, and I think he had an accident.”
Brunson is scheduled to fight Dan Kelly in the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC Fight Night event in New Zealand. Heavyweight contenders will do battle in the main event as Mark Hunt fights Derrick Lewis.
Romero is scheduled to finally get his shot at a UFC title. At UFC 213, on July 8, Romero is scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker for an interim UFC middleweight title in the co-main event.
