Congrats! Former UFC Champion TJ Dillashaw Expecting First Child

The day after Father’s Day, former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw revealed he is going to be a father.

Dillashaw sent out a tweet saying “Our hearts are full.” He also announced the babies due date of December 28, 2017.

Dillashaw and his wife, Rebecca, posted a video revealing she was pregnant. In the video, which can be seen below, Rebecca is on a beach and draws a heart with the word “baby” with the babies due date inside the heart.

Dillashaw was scheduled to fight UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt for his title at UFC 213 on July 8. However, Garbrandt is suffering from a back injury and the fight was canceled.

After losing his immediate bantamweight title shot, Dillashaw called out UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson, but Johnson doesn’t want to take the fight due to Dillashaw having never competed at 125 pounds.

While he is struggling to get a UFC title opportunity, Dillashaw can find joy in starting a family.
