Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez is once again training with UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in preparation for his next title fight.
Members of American Kickboxing Academy have released footage of Cormier and Velasquez training together.
Cormier is scheduled to defend his title against former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones in the main event of UFC 214 on July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Velasquez has not fought in the UFC in almost a year. In his last fight, he defeated Travis Browne by TKO back at UFC 200.
Velaquez was scheduled to fight former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum back in December. However, the UFC forced Velasquez to withdraw from the fight after he revealed a back injury during an interview.
Since then, Velasquez has had surgery on his back but has yet to schedule his next UFC fight.
