UFC President Dana White once again roasted someone for talking negatively about the highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.
This time, White turned his focus on an ESPN columnist who wrote a column referring to Mayweather vs. McGregor as a “freak show.”
Leonard Ellerbe, of Mayweather Promotions, first responded to the column.
“I assume there is no need to accommodate you for our event,” Ellerbe said in a tweet.
White responded by agreeing with Ellerbe.
“BOOOOOM!!!!!!!! I love it. Head kick KO of Dan Rafael by Leonard Ellerbe,” White wrote on his Instagram page. “These boxing guys are being so weird about this fight. If u don’t like it DONT WATCH IT and if u do like it u can watch the other fight too.”
Rafael, of ESPN, wrote a column calling the upcoming fight between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez a “real fight” while Mayweather vs. McGregor is a “freak show.”
Mayweather vs. McGregor is scheduled to take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
I'll assume there is no need to accommodate you for our event.
