In preparation for his next fight in New Zealand, UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis was asked if he knew the meaning to slang terms in the country.
A popular phrase in the country is “sweet as”. When asked if he knew what it meant, Lewis said, “Like, Ronda Rousey got a sweet ass?”
Lewis famously shared his feelings towards the former UFC champion when he fought her fiance, Travis Browne, in his last fight.
In February, Lewis earned a knockout victory over Browne. After the fight, he shared his thoughts on the couple during his post-fight interview.
“I just knew I had a bigger heart than him. He calls himself a man, but he likes to put his hands on women. So, forget that guy,” Lewis said. “I have much more heart than he has. Where’s Ronda Rousey’s fine ass at?”
On Saturday, Lewis is scheduled to headline a UFC Fight Night event. He will fight fellow heavyweight contender Mark Hunt.
