UFC Hall of Famer Don Frye recently asked out former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate on social media.
Early this month, Frye sent out a message to Tate via his Facebook.
“I understand Miesha Tate is single after 15 years. I’m single after 20 years….coincidence? I think not….July UFC Expo Las Vegas, lets do dinner, you’re paying, your checks were probably bigger than mine. We could make super babies, my looks and your fighting skills, how can you say no to that?”
On Tuesday, a fan asked Frye about whether or not he has had any success with the former UFC champion.
“How’s Miesha doing with the free mustache ride???” A fan asked Frye via Twitter.
“She loves it. She won’t even let me out of the room to get a glass of water,” Frye responded.
Frye retired from the sport of MMA after his last fight in 2011. He is a veteran of the UFC and PRIDE. Among his greatest MMA achievements was winning the UFC Ultimate Ultimate 96 tournament back in Dec. 1996.
