The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rocked the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Sunday night with another exciting mixed martial arts event. UFC Fight Night 112 went down on June 25 in Oklahoma City, Okla. In the night’s main event, UFC lightweights Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee and Michael Chiesa faced off in an intense grudge match.
However, the fight was cut short in the very first round. Kevin Lee earned a submission victory over his opponent with a rear-naked choke. Following the event, the victor arrived on the set of UFC on FOX to discuss the night’s main event with UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson.
During the show, Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee entered a heated debate that stole the attention of the show. Kevin Lee repeatedly demanded that he be presented a “real journalist,” rather than Tony Ferguson. Tony Ferguson congratulated Lee on his performance for the night, but told the fighter to take on other competitors before coming to him.
