On Saturday, Bellator MMA hosted one of the most exciting MMA events in recent history.
Among all of the excitement was a heavyweight matchup between MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko and heavyweight contender Matt Mitrione.
The fight only lasted about a minute, but it was one of the most exciting Bellator fights in history.
Both Emelianenko and Mitrione hit each other with a devastating punch that knocked their opponent down at the same time.
However, Mitrione was the first to recover and he immediately swarmed Emelianenko on the ground. After landing a couple more punches, Mitrione knocked out the MMA icon.
The entire MMA world had their eyes on Bellator: NYC at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Fighters watching the event were not shy about sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
