Former title challenger Sara McMann has confirmed she will be fighting at UFC 214 on July 29.
McMann will be fighting Ketlen Vieira at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Both McMann and Vieira are among the top contenders in the UFC women’s bantamweight division.
McMann is currently ranked No. 6 in the official UFC women’s bantamweight rankings. She is on a three-fight win streak. She is coming off a submission win over Gina Mazany. Her win streak also includes victories over Alexis Davis and Jessica Eye.
Vieira is currently ranked No. 13 in the UFC. She is undefeated with eight wins. In her last fight, she picked up a decision win over Ashlee Evans-Smith.
Before joining the world of MMA, McMann was an accomplished wrestler and won a silver medal in the Olympics. She started her MMA career with seven straight wins, which earned her a title shot against Ronda Rousey. McMann suffered her first loss in 2014 when she was defeated by the former champion.
