UFC strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha revealed an unflattering nickname she has been given by her team.
On the latest episode of the UFC 212 Embedded: Vlog Series, Gadelha said she has received the nickname ‘pigeon a**’ because of the way she looks after cutting weight.
“Usually when I’m losing weight, the first thing I lose is my (expletive). So I always say I get a pigeon (expletive),” Gadelha said. “Because my butt gets smaller. It’s the first thing to go.”
At UFC 212, Gadelha will fight fellow strawweight contender Karolina Kowalkiewicz in the co-main event.
Gadelha and Kowalkiewicz are among the very best 115-pound fighters in the world. Both women have been near perfect in their MMA careers. Both fighters have only lost to UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
