Two of the most recognizable voices in MMA history, Mike Goldberg and Mauro Ranallo, have joined Bellator MMA.
On Tuesday, Bellator announced both Goldberg and Ranallo will make their debuts for the promotion at Bellator: NYC on June 24.
“Mike Goldberg and Mauro Ranallo are two of the best in our business and I couldn’t be happier about them joining the Bellator family,” said Bellator CEO Scott Coker in a press release.
Goldberg was the voice of the UFC for two decades. His last UFC broadcast was UFC 207 back in December.
Ranallo currently works for Showtime Boxing. He was recently a commentator for the WWE but left the company for undisclosed reasons. In the world of MMA, Ranallo has done commentary for promotions such as PRIDE, Strikeforce, and Invicta.
Bellator: NYC takes place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Longtime middleweight rivals Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva will headline the event. Heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko will also make his Bellator debut as he fights Matt Mitrione.
Excited to announce the addition of both @GoldieOnTV and @mauroranallo beginning with #BellatorNYC!
