Bellator lightweight Michael Chandler faced off against Brent Primus at Bellator 180 over the weekend. However, the fighter suffered a TKO loss due to an injury. During the bout, Chandler began stumbling over his foot, showing signs of a serious injury. However, it would appear that the fighter is now fine.
Appearing on The MMA Hour, as transcribed by MMA Fighting, Chandler said “Nothing’s broken. I went straight to the ER, the doctors at Bellevue ER, I got in, they X-rayed it, nothing broken. It’s a good thing. I could be just getting out of surgery right now with a rod in my leg. Luckily, I’m not.”
