The Ultimate Fighting Championship has hosted another large event. However, the mixed martial arts promotion’s latest venture did not go without its controversy.
UFC Fight Night 112 took place last night, June 25, inside the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla. Former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks faced off against mixed martial arts veteran Tim Boetsch for the event, but faced some difficulties coming into the fight.
For the fourth time in his career, Johny Hendricks missed weight. While overweight for the night’s competition, Johny Hendricks would go on to lose to Tim Boetsch by way of TKO in the second round.
Prior to the night’s event, Johny Hendricks revealed who he was working with to achieve his weight cut for UFC Fight Night 112. “Teaming up with @fitmealsprepDFW to make the weight cut easy and fun.” Hendricks stated over Twitter.
