The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another big event over the weekend. UFC Fight Night 112 went down inside the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla. However, the fight night did not go without its controversy.
In the night’s main event, UFC lightweights Michael Chiesa and Kevin “The Motown Phenom” Lee faced off for division dominance in a highly anticipated grudge match. However, the fight came to an abrupt end in the first round after a controversial call from the referee.
Kevin Lee locked in a rear-naked choke on his opponent. Without Chiesa having tapped, the referee called a stop to the contest, bringing the bout to a screeching halt.
Now, Kevin Lee can be seen biting his glove to achieve the submission attempt within the video above.
