Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight Angela Magana had a confrontation with former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino at the 2017 UFC Fighter Summit. After trash talking the fighter in the weeks leading up to the athlete retreat, Angela Magana met face to face with “Cyborg.”
Police were called to the scene after “Cyborg” struck Magana in the face. Angela Magana later elected to press charges for the incident.
Now, Angela Magana has come forward to reveal that she did not create one of the memes used to disparage the former Invicta FC featherweight champion. Rather, the meme was allegedly made by Alliance MMA teammate Angela Hill.
Angela Magana was released from Alliance MMA by the camps founder, Brandon Vera, shortly after the incident at the 2017 UFC Fighter Summit.
