UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is set to throw down with Floyd Mayweather Jr. inside a boxing ring on Aug. 26. While the fight announcement has many fans elated with excitement, there are still those that have no interest in seeing this fight. Now boxing phenom Manny Pacquiao can be counted among them.
In an interview with Yahoo Sports, Pacquiao explained that he is more interested in seeing Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Álvarez face off then Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor.
“The real fight and the best fight is Golovkin vs. Canelo,. That’s the fight I will be watching. McGregor has no chance in this fight. In fact, it could be very boring. There is no way he will be able to land a meaningful punch on Floyd. How could he? He has no professional experience in boxing.”
