Mayweather Talks Fight Night: ‘Conor may hurt me … But I’ll still beat him!’

Floyd “Money” Mayweather recently held a media workout in the lead-up to his fight against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor.

Mayweather admitted that he may get hurt against the UFC champion, but he will not lose and he will receive a large payday.

“You name them I beat them. I can get a black eye. I can get a bloody nose. I can have a bad day at the gym. At the end of the day, I don’t have a bad payday and I don’t have a bad night under the lights,” Mayweather said.

“I get bumps and bruises, but I don’t have a bad night and I don’t have a bad payday.”

After two years away from the sport, Mayweather is ending his retirement to compete against McGregor in a boxing match. He will put his perfect 49-0 record on the line, while McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut.

Mayweather vs. McGregor takes place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
