UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has made a prediction of how his fight with Floyd “Money” Mayweather will go.
On Friday, McGregor posted a photo on his Instagram account of himself standing in front of a mural in his gym. The mural is of himself landing a clean punch on Mayweather.
“I predict these things,” McGregor said in his caption.
McGregor has earned the nickname “Mystic Mac” for being able to accurately predict what will happen in his fights. Now, the UFC champion is predicting success in his professional boxing debut.
McGregor’s next fight is by far the biggest of his career. Not only is this without a doubt one of the biggest fights in combat sport’s history, but McGregor will receive the largest payday of his career.
Mayweather is coming out of retirement to fight the UFC champion. He will be putting his perfect record of 49-0 on the line when he steps into the ring with McGregor.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place Aug. 26 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
