Chatri Sityodtong, the owner of ONE Championship, claims ONE Women’s Atomweight Champion Angela Lee is paid more than UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.
“Yes, rumors are true. ONE Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee’s new contract pays more than what Cris Cyborg or Joanna Jedrzejczyk make,” Sityodtong said in a tweet.
At just 21, Lee is currently undefeated with seven wins. Six of her wins have come by submission. All of her wins have come inside a ONE Championship cage.
With just seven fights, Lee is apparently making more money than Jedrzejczyk, the most dominant female champion in the UFC, and Justino, who is the most dominant female fighter of all time.
Justino has been unbeaten for over a decade. She is a former Strikeforce and Invicta featherweight champion.
Jedrzejczyk is undefeated with 14 wins. Her last six wins have all been title fights in the UFC.
