On Saturday, UFC light heavyweight Ion Cutelaba took only 22 seconds to knockout Henrique da Silva at a UFC Fight Night event in Auckland, New Zealand.
Right at the start of the fight, Cutelaba ran across the cage and brought the fight to Silva. He quickly dropped the Brazilian and pummeled him with punches on the ground. The referee had no choice but to step in and award Cutelaba with the TKO win in just 22 seconds.
This is Cutelaba’s second UFC win. His other win was a decision victory over Jonathan Wilson last October. Cutelaba’s other two UFC fights came against Misha Cirkunov and Jared Cannonier.
This knockout loss marked the third consecutive loss for Silva in the UFC. This could likely be his last UFC fight for the time being.
