Former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin recently shared his thoughts on ONE Championship’s next event.
On June 30, ONE Championship will present their next event, Light of a Nation, in Myanmar.
The event will be headlined by a rematch between ONE Middleweight Champion Vitaly Bigdash and Aung La N Sang.
Bigdash is undefeated with nine victores. In January, he won a close decision against Sang.
ONE Championship: Light of a Nation will also feature a one-night four-man flyweight tournament, with one alternate bout.
“The match I am looking forward to the most on this card would be Mei Yamaguchi facing off against Jenny Huang,” Franklin said. “Style makes matchups and that’s where this fight becomes really exciting to me because both of these athletes are grapplers. Mei Yamaguchi has a 75 percent finishing rate when she is on the ground. Jenny Huang, a 100 percent finishing rate when she’s on the ground.”
