On Sunday, Herrig will fight undefeated strawweight Justine Kish at a UFC Fight Night event in Oklahoma City.
Herrig is coming off an upset win over another previously undefeated fighter. In February, Herrig defeated Alexa Grasso.
With her latest win, Herrig is once again a contender at 115-pounds. She has notable wins against Heather Jo Clark and Lisa Ellis.
This Sunday’s UFC Fight Night will be headlined by a pivotal fight in the lightweight division. Lightweight contender Michael Chiesa will square off against rising prospect Kevin Lee. Former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks will once again compete as a middleweight as he fights Tim Boetsch in the co-main event.
