It would appear that some mixed martial arts competitors from the MMA promotion BFC’s opening event have still not been payed for their performances. Now, they are speaking out against the promotion.
Former UFC competitor and mixed martial arts veteran Sarah Kaufman and knockout artist Raja Shippen are among the fighters seemingly slighted by the promotion. Competitor Gokhan Turkyilmaz has now gone to social media to speak out against BFC.
“As quoted by Battlefield FC ‘Make sure the fighters receive the whole amount of their fight money to appreciate their great efforts and their fights’ It’s been 3 months and still NO PAY. I DONT GIVE A (expletive) I WILL MAKE A NOISE AND WONT GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT.” The fighter stated.
BFC: The Great Beginning took place in March, leaving fighters without pay for three months.
